Ruben Maria Soriquez (Bologna, Italy, August 2, 1971) is a Filipino-Italian film Actor, Director and Producer.〔http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3544939/bio?ref_=nm_ov_bio_sm〕 DEBUT in ITALY As director Soriquez, after making his debut with the documentary "Montovolo. History, Nature and Legend", () in 2011 directed Sexocracy: The Man of Bunga Bunga ,() a documentary feature film based on a long interview with (Lele Mora ) on the Italian entertainment system and its relationship with Silvio Berlusconi. Sexocracy released in theaters in May 2012 receives a nomination for Best Documentary at the New York City International Film Festival, edition of 2012. In 2013 Soriquez writes, directs and does the photography of "The Broken Crown", a Italy/Germany/Philippines co-production. Among the actors Andrea Roncato, () Tony Sperandeo (), Horst Janson (a monument Cinema Teutonic), Massimo Bonetti, (Manuela Morabito ) and Ron Williams. Soriquez also continues directing documentaries about nature - for the WWF of Italy -, history and art. DEBUT in the PHILIPPINES Ruben moves to the Philippines in late 2013 where he founds See Thru Pictures, Inc., a film production and distribution company. With See Thru Pictures, Soriquez produces in 2015 Of Sinners and Saints. In the cast Raymond Bagatsing, Polo Ravales, Richard Quan and Althea Vega.
